		Username Registration Registration Process This process was drawn up to allow you to register a nickname to use on IRC with the channel services we provide (P & NS). However there are a few rules to registering a nickname. To view the Policy to which you will be agreeing to the policy below By continuing with this process you are accepting and stating you will follow the rules and restrictions stated in the policy. An infringement of these rules may result in suspension or removal of the account and all subsequent nickname accounts registered to the account. 3.0) Nick Registration and use A nick can be registered with the purpose of using our services P (channel/user/memo serv) and NS (nickserv) Users are advised to register the main nickname they use on the IRC network, this will make them the said owner of this nickname. Users can be the sole user of this nickname via means provided by the NS module of the channel services we provide. However using a nickname on the IRC network and not registering it, does NOT make you the owner of said nickname. Should a nick not be logged into for 28 days the nick can be purged for inactivity. Should the nick not have been used for 30 or more days the nick will automatically be purged. By registering a nickname you agree not to: 3.1) Network wise: - Advertise channels, games, porn, warez, mp3's or other IRC networks - Spamming users and or channels without permission - Mass Invite users to channels. - Use floodnets with the intention to harm or disrupt other users and channels. - Use the nickname of a network official, without their expressed permission. - Harass the community in other ways 3.2) Cservice wise: - Register nicknames with the intent to use the NS module to kill another user. - Abuse the NOTE module to harass users - Register nicknames you have no genuine want to use or with the purpose of annoying another user. - Part/join P repeatedly with the intend of annoying the channels users - Repeatedly triggering the flood protection in P - Registering multiple nicks with the intension of trying to cheat with channel registrations. - Use the Channel Services Provided in any other way than intended. Breaching this policy by the above stated rules will result in a suspension or removal of the channel service account. This includes channels, access and nick. 4.0) Channel Registration and use A channel can be registered to gain access to our channel service (P) Users are advised only to register channels they will need on the NetGamers network to form new communities for friends and or alliance mates In order to register a channel an owner and two trusted supporters for the channel must be found. The owner will have level 500 access, supporters 499, neither can remove each other. Should a channel owner (level 500) be idle for 21 days or more, the channel can be transferred on request to a user with access should no one object. If the channel owner is idle for 28 days or more, the channel can be transferred on request to anyone wanting it, should no one in the channel object. Should P part the channel and not be re-joined for 7 or more days the channel will be auto purged 4.1) Regulations: By registering a channel you agree not to: - Any and all points under nick registration policy - Advertise and register channels for games that are not approved by the current supporters - Use bots for supporters and or owner - Use multiple nicks owned by yourself as supporters and or owner - Use people who you do not know or have not asked permission as supporters - Attempt to register channel names which could be construed as offensive - Register channels you have no genuine want to use or with the purpose of annoying other users - Leave the channel unused and idle without deleting it for an excess of 7 days - Cause trouble in any other ways Breaching this policy by the above mentioned rules will result in a suspension or removal of the channel.
